iPhone 12 Rumors

It seems that various rumors about the iPhone 12 are slowly emerging.

The release date is roughly expected to be this October.

Looking at the most plausible rumor photos, it’s definitely exciting.

Since the iPhone 6, Apple has chosen rounded bezels, but this time, the iPhone 12 is said to use a flat edge frame like the iPhone 4, which I personally really like.

As for performance-related rumors, honestly, the specs of modern smartphones are all so good that there’s no way a new smartphone wouldn’t run the latest games. Moreover, iPhones have always shown the best optimization, so detailed performance specs don’t seem very necessary. However, it is said that instead of using lens movement for optical image stabilization, the iPhone 12 will likely use a method that moves the image sensor itself.

The A14 processor to be used is expected to be the highest-performing mobile processor at the time of release, as Apple always does.

In terms of actual mobile usage, it seems it might compete with MacBook processors.

Most of the rumored designs predict that the notch will still remain, but there are also rumors predicting that the notch will disappear.

Personally, when the notch design first came out, many people complained about it, but I thought it was okay because it extended the status bar and increased the usable screen area. Plus, for video playback, the typical screen ratio is shorter than the iPhone’s horizontal length, so it didn’t matter. I also liked the design itself.

So, I think I’ll be fine with the notch, but if it comes out with a notch-less design like in the photo above, that would be even better.

In fact, there are many more rumored details, but I think only the release date, the design in the images above, the processor, and hardware information like RAM are meaningful.

Since the recent Apple Watch fell far short of the rumors, I’m still debating whether to buy it and review it when it’s released (maybe I’ll buy it, review it, and give it away if I can afford it?). But if the iPhone 12 really comes out with those sleek cutting-edge bezels, I’m definitely willing to buy it right away.
